What Is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for FRP Products?

The minimum order quantity depends on the product type, because some FRP items are produced in dedicated molds and others are filament-wound or pultruded to order. Below is a quick reference for the products we supply.

Standard Products — No MOQ

For standard FRP tanks, pipes, gratings, septic tanks, pump stations and sluice gates, we do not enforce a strict MOQ. One piece can be produced to your required size. These are built by winding, molding or pultrusion rather than in expensive dedicated molds, so small trial orders and replacement parts are welcome.

Molded / SMC Parts and Custom Tooling

For SMC or compression-molded parts that require a new mold, we usually request a minimum batch to share the tooling cost, typically 50-500 pieces depending on part size. Once the mold exists, follow-up orders can be any quantity.

Pultruded Profiles

Standard pultruded profiles (angles, tubes, bars) are produced by the ton. For standard sizes we can cut-to-length from stock or a small production run; for custom cross-sections, a minimum run of a few hundred meters is typical.
